Dr. Brian Hall is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
He graduated from the Pennsylvania State University, University Park as a Bunton-Waller fellow, with a Bachelor of Science in 1999. He received his medical degree from the Howard University College of Medicine, Washington D.C., in 2004. Dr. Hall completed his surgical residency in 2009 at the Brooklyn Hospital Center. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, University Hospital in 2010.
He joined the surgical faculty at SUNY Stony Brook as an Assistant Professor of Surgery specializing in Trauma/Critical Care. In 2011, he returned to Brooklyn to join Advantage Care Physicians as a Surgical Attending. In 2013, he became Director of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. He remained with ACPNY and Wyckoff Heights Medical Center until 2017, at which time he formed Brooklyn Surgical PLLC. In 2021, he became Chief of Surgery at Interfaith Medical Center, part of the One Brooklyn Health Network.
Born in Queens from Jamaican parents, Brian is very proud and humbled to serve the Brooklyn community. It has been his life long dream to provide quality surgical care to the people of Brooklyn.
